I'm Chrissie and I love food!

You know for starters, you really should take advice on eating from someone who loves to eat and cook! Many of you know we have spent the better part of two years remodeling our home and I am just tickled to host classes in my kitchen!

So, what makes me qualified? 

My first degree is in kinesiology which is body movement - a huge part of that is physiology which is how we metabolize nutrients into energy and output. A significant part of physiology not covered in undergrad is related to inflammation and what happens to excess food and waste products that aren't purged. These products turn into PAIN, OVERWHELM, ANXIETY, SUFFERING, STIFFNESS, ALLERGIES, CONGESTION, MUCUS and more.

I realized the correlation between going to bed later with a full stomach led to lethargy, weight creep, exhaustion, bad digestion, bloat, malaise, cramps, acne, hormone irregularities, skin disorders and more. 

I have always said "your body is your best experiment" and I believe this. I started to fast. It was a rocky road at first and what I was doing indeed wasn't really fasting, but I was learning the whole time. I ended up feeling so much better when I had an earlier dinner and skipped breakfast. I wasn't full of bloat, cramps, or fluff, I slept better, felt well rested, jumped out of bed in the mornings and had a reasonable bed time too.
